Tiruvaimoli is an outstanding hymnal work of Srivaisnavism by the greatest of Alwar saints Nammalvar of Tamil Nadu. The propagation of the religion and philosophy of Srivaisnavism was intensely carried out by the Alwar saints through their devotional hymns between the 6th and 9th centuries A.D. Tiruvaimoli, deeply valued as the Tamil Veda of the Vaishnavites, is the melodious mystical outpouring of the saint Nammalvar celebrating his ecstatic divine experiences of myriad hues. The present edition makes the work accessible to all the non-Tamil knowing scholars and masses for the first time by providing the Sanskrit and Hindi translations along with detailed commentaries in Sanskrit and Hindi to the Tamil stanzas reproduced here in Devanagari letters.
